 Knock OutŪ forms a shrub
about 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Its foliage is deep green, glossy, and
tinged with eggplant purple with a swirl of burgundy. Glossy dark green
foliage surrounds medium-sized clusters of deep, fluorescent, cherry red,
semi-double blooms with petal count of 5-7 flowers measuring 3 inches across
in clusters of 3-15 per bunch. The fragrance is a delicate tea-like scent.
Knock OutŪ blooms spring, summer and fall. New growth is bright red. Fall
color is great and orange-red hips last through winter. Knock OutŪ is
recipient of the All-America Rose Selections Award for 2000 as well as a
Texas Superstar awarded in 2004.
